What therapy services do you provide?

Currently, ElderConnect provides only speech-language pathology services in all domains focused on the adult/geriatric population(s).

Do you provide Early Intervention or services for children?

At this time, ElderConnect only provides speech-language pathology services for adults 21+, and specializes in care for the geriatric population. However, we continuously work on expanding our network in an aim to provide you with resources/contacts for Early Intervention and pediatric needs.

Why would an adult need speech therapy? I talk just fine!

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) can be a misleading title. SLPs work within the domains of speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing. When working with the adult population, most of the work provided by SLPs focuses on cognition, swallowing, and overall communication.

What makes ElderConnect different from other SLP services?

At ElderConnect, we value several things: maintaining dignity, preserving autonomy, maximizing safety, and supporting overall improved function, quality of life, and independence within a familiar environment. Most services for the adult population are provided in hospital or care-home settings outside of the patient’s main residence. ElderConnect understands how being in a familiar environment supports improved function and progress towards goals.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, ElderConnect is exclusively private pay. However, we are actively working on getting credentialed and in-network for several insurance companies. We will update our website when that becomes available. Feel free to reach out if you would like us to directly contact you once direct insurance billing is an option.
